About Me

My Story
Hi there,

I'm Shannon, a Holistic Nutritionist passionate about helping couples get pregnant sooner. Whether that's through balancing hormonal symptoms, PCOS fertility support, optimizing fertility over 35, regulating your cycle, unexplained infertility, improving egg quality or supporting you through IVF. I can help you through it.

My own fertility journey started a few years back when my husband and I were finally ready to start trying to conceive. Little did we know, our journey would not be quick or easy
.
I was on the birth control pill for 16 years, and when I came off, my cycle did not return for over a year. Once it finally did come back, it was very irregular. I worked with both traditional fertility and naturopathic doctors and was diagnosed with PCOS, a hormonal disorder causing ovulation issues (among many other symptoms). We finally were able to conceive, but unfortunately we suffered a painful miscarriage. During this time I was exercising way too much, under eating and had just suffered the loss of a close loved one. To say my body was under chronic stress in an understatement!
After another 6 months, we finally ended up conceiving with the help of medication to stimulate ovulation and brought a beautiful and healthy baby girl into the world after 3 years of trying.

I experienced the disconnect between the medical system and whole body nourishment. Although I am grateful for the traditional medicine that helped us to conceive, I wish I knew more about healing myself first. Maybe my journey to motherhood would have been a lot shorter.

There is so much more to fertility than what traditional medicine has to offer. Yes- there is a place for it, but why aren’t we told that we can try to heal from within first?

This experience compelled me to learn more by becoming a Holistic Nutritionist specializing in fertility. My goal is to educate and empower my clients to regain control of their fertility and be able to create the family they have been dreaming of, without the overwhelm of doing it alone.

Food is medicine, sometimes slower is better and all systems of the body work intimately with one another. When you learn and practice this in your daily life, your body will start to heal and you’ll become your most fertile self!
